No. It isn’t. Most people are perfectly content once they have enough. Enough is easy to sustainably produce today but the ‘infinite growth’ that the money system needs ensures we are being continuously bombarded with marketing trying to convince us we need more to make us happy. After money there won’t be advertising or marketing.

Humans are born preloaded with intrinsic motivation. The vast majority want to help each other and take care of the place. At the moment, they simply can’t afford to. Once all our needs are provided freely and easily, as they can be now, we will be free to do what our conscience tells us.

It’s just not realistic. You can’t be serious. Observing conventional Politics and the increasingly obvious social and environmental repercussions of continuing with the disasterous monetary system, we see ourselves as the most serious movement out there. This is totally realistic. The only change required is in your mind.

If a job is worth doing for Society then Society will see that it gets done. Like volunteer Firefighters or Ambulance staff today. There are few really crappy jobs left anyway. Humans have already invented systems and machines to do them much more easily, if not eliminate them altogether. When almost everyone is virtually retired, with time, resources, energy and the means to help others, they will queue up to do the crappy jobs. Why ? Because there will be social admiration and prominence for those who contribute the most. After money, we will look up to those who have given. In the money system, we look up to those who have taken.

Or boat, plane or whatever… Basically, YES ! You will still have to qualify for it. It’s no big deal. Just as today Society has concluded it’s best for everybody, that drivers and pilots pass some tests, the same will be true after money. There’s plenty of houses (look at all the Real Estate sales crap!). There’s plenty of boats (go down to your local marina!). It’s just that in the money system a lack of pretend ‘tokens’ ensures most people can’t ‘afford’ them. Once we see past the pretend tokens it becomes clearer that maybe ‘owning’ isn’t so important. ‘Having access to’ something is important. Few of us aspire to own a shopping trolley, or a library for example. We’re perfectly happy to just borrow them. When people go on holiday, they don’t usually take their own car. They just ‘rent’ one there. Often a new one, better than their own back home. Modern, efficient, safe, professionally maintained, etc. That concept is readily possible for almost all the things we need. For free of course.

The same people as now ! Except they’re now volunteers. When people aren’t treated like slaves and are secure and contented, they will volunteer their time to do what’s important. Nobody actually wants to smash the place up. When Society is allowed to focus on what’s truly important, instead of getting ‘life’ through a ‘job’, everything important can and will be addressed. We now know what we need to do. We’ve got everything we need to do it. It’s just right now, in this outdated system, we can’t ‘afford’ to do it. Imagine how you’d be without the worry of bills, rent, mortgage, losing your job…

The staff ultimately choose the boss. When everything is voluntary, just like in most voluntary organizations today, the members vote democratically for whoever they think would be best for the job. In many companies the current boss may well remain. But now the staff are voluntary, the balance of ‘power’ changes. For the good of all. Not just the boss.

Who currently control us. Through money. Without the bribing power of money to force people to do things they otherwise wouldn’t (commonly known as ‘work’) only what Society agrees is worthwhile will be accomplished. Nobody would voluntarily work in an arms factory or sell cigarettes to children would they?   But they would, and do already, voluntarily contribute in health, sports, community, recreation, family, emergency services, conservation, etc.

Not once they’ve enough. There will be no advertising. Enough decent sustainable food, housing, education, healthcare, security etc. These are easily provided today. We are surrounded by abundance today. When humans have a decent standard of living, they behave very differently. Currently we are perpetually starved of our humanity by falsely induced poverty and subtly marketed brainwashing. A ‘decent’ standard of living can be quantified in New Zealand as about $100,000 per year in today’s money. Up to that level of income, life is quite a challenge. Above that level, more income does not bring more happiness, just more expensive problems. That standard can easily be provided for all humans.

Yes, Easily. Because we now have modern technology to help us. Because everything is voluntary, Society becomes the provider of everything. If Society needs, then Society will provide. Every supply chain, whether it produces electricity, food, car parts, vet services or TVs, relies upon people. A lot of people. They all have families, neighbours, friends etc. They are Society. Without money in the way, Society gets what Society wants. Because the Sociologistic Supply Chain is self-regulating and environmentally referenced automatically, we will all have free access to as much as we can sustainably produce.

Absolutely not. There is 1.6 hectares of land for every person on earth.  10% of that is good, productive agricultural land. That’s much more than you need.

To further quantify the scale of this, livestock, ie farm animals, consume the equivalent of 9 billion people’s worth of food, and 15 billion people’s worth of water.

It’s quite clear that New Zealand is not overpopulated. We have an obvious abundance of land, food, water, energy, technology and construction materials. One might imagine that living here would be healthy, stress-free and affordable.

It’s difficult to imagine. But undoubtedly much, much higher than what any of us are used to today. Modern, sustainable, environmentally sustainable technologies and materials, such as 3D printing construction and Hempcrete development point the way to the future of housing.

Renewable energy can easily replace all exploitive energy once it becomes ‘affordable’. Once antiquated fossil fuel industries no longer have to protect their interests. Imagine free electric cars for all to use.

When ownership is replaced by access, we will need far fewer cars, boats etc. Why own one ?

Technologies are already superseding conventional ownership protocols with Smartphones for example bringing communications, cameras, libraries, GPS, torches, diaries, music lessons etc, etc to all people.

The Venus Project’s website gives some exciting ideas of what will be possible. Ultimately, it’ll be up to you.

Not least of all, when all of us are relieved of the stress of competing for absolutely everything, with time, resources and energy to do whatever we wish, life will be much, much better.

This opportunity might be the making of us.
Of course we feel for those who are suffering. Our thoughts and hearts are with them.
As the world, and New Zealand particularly reacts to the new restrictions and way of life, we are seeing some unprecedented responses and behaviours that might not have been expected by current ‘non-RBE’ers. Countless examples of both governmental public health prioritisation and human wellbeing initiatives indicate that the likely outcome of this crisis will ultimately be positive. And potentially..money free.

The failure of capitalism is now so blatant, not only in it’s initially causing the crisis, but also in it’s inability to cope with it. Furthermore, it seems impossible that the NZ government could even consider continuing post-Covid with anything like conventional economics in the future.
We all know that we were living massively beyond our means before. It was failing dismally then, ie. infrastructure collapse, mental health and homelessness crises, drugs, obesity, climate change, inequality, poverty, suicide, pollution and so on. So it is utterly ridiculous to imagine that we will be able to ‘afford’, in the money system, to recover from this sudden blow.

We are witnessing daily examples of RBE type behaviours throughout this country and beyond. People are demonstrating numerous acts of selflessness, kindness, generosity and public-spirit.
This is what we predicted. It WILL happen. And now it IS HAPPENING!
